Hi folks - quick update. Dodgeit.com is not receiving mail for the moment. The hosting experiment with Amazon’s EC2 has not been a success. I really like some things about EC2, but apparently it is not a great way to host an extremely busy mail server (which is, of course, what dodgeit is). EC2’s 4GB primary partition is way too small, and the 180GB /mnt disk space is way too slow (because it is a SAN?). Don’t blame Amazon–It is quite possible I was using it for something for which it was never intended.
I expect to have everything moved to a new server by Friday 3/24.
Note: mail shouldn’t be lost. Well-behaved mail servers (they DO exist) will attempt to re-send the messages when the dodgeit SMTP service comes back up.

someone used this aleksandar@dodgeit.com to hack my account in myspace.com…..would it be possible to see what all of the messages were that passed through the account….it happened on march21 in the morning….thnks alot…alex

I posted some comments on the page one gets to after clicking on the link for source code, which anyone can read. My http://www.TardisKeep.TK site provider, USIGHT.COM boasts an ability to handle unlimited traffic. My site is an unconventional experimental site. The first project is a multilevel button grid of unlimited size that is superior to milliondollarwebsite structures. The site structure and tools force the use of an obligatory template which could pose some coding problems. Another experiment could be to try placing your setup into a file like dodgeit.html and a domain name could point to the file. Check it out and see if it is anything that could be worked with.

Most likely reason is your ISP closed your account for email harvesting and spamming. I hope you poor folks using this service realize this guy is a fraud and is using your data to spam with.

Now I receive e-mails in real time, but can’t read them, particullary those from MySpace. There is a thing that I can do to read my e-mail once and for all? I am trying to change the Dodgeit e-mail on my MySpace profile but I can’t because MySpace require to confirm the change via e-mail.

You know, there’s enough spam going through DodgeIt already. Do you need all those e-mails saying you have received a new comment, message, invitation, or friend request if you’re the type of person who checks their inbox 48 times an hour to see if they got any new myspace e-mails? Sit on the website and hit the refresh key every couple of hours why don’t you? Better yet, clog up some worthless Yahoo or Hotmail box?

No, i actually need the Dodgeit e-mail cause I want to transfer my account to another mail, and MySpace requires me to write a code that they sent to me via mail to act the tranfer. So now I’m stuck with dodgeit cause I can’t read anything in the mails.

I wrote a lengthy response to the posts here, which is no longer present, explaining how many of the problems listed here are probably the fault of MySpace since the same problem shows up at Mailinator.com which is working. 2prong.com works differently and is working now. Both Mailinator and 2prong
have their uses depending on what they are being applied to, which should be the the determining factor of their use. The only solution to change an email address at MySpace is to start a new account, which should be done only to have an easy to enter user name since their email and many links appear to not be working properly.
As to my previous entry above, the template and code problems at my site are resolved. If anyone wants to get a Button Link on the Grid at Tardis Keep the project is good to go. I noticed the editor on this site shows a zero as the lower case letter o. Some experiments may need to be done to see if this is only visual or if it is internal such that it could interfere with a link containing a zero as part of the URL/domain name.

if you are having problems with myspace mail to your dodgeit.com inbox, might try contacting myspace tech support, they might be able to resolve the problem.

i use firfox and dodgeit.com will not even load and i used dodgeit for my myspace and i forgot my password and i can get it sent to my mailbox but i cant read my mail !!! this sux!!! plz get this fixed!!! quickly!!!!
